Observed an employee wash their hands and not use a barrier to shut off the faucet and then put gloves on. Discussed with PIC that this recontaminates their hands and it was COS. - 2-301.12 (C): (C) TO avoid recontaminating their hands or surrogate prosthetic devices, FOOD EMPLOYEES may use disposable paper towels or similar clean barriers when touching surfaces such as manually operated faucet handles on a HANDWASHING SINK or the handle of a restroom door. - V,COS |
